ANAT JASIS  ענת חסיס

ANAT JASIS- abstract painting  ענת חסיס-ציור מופשט

There are things that can’t be said with words. That’s why I paint.

I’m an Israeli abstract painter.
I don’t paint what I see—I paint what I feel.
I work with raw emotions, colors that don’t ask for permission, and forms born from instinct and passion.

I’m not looking for answers.
I prefer to let questions float—unfinished strokes, silences heavy with meaning.

I work with various acrylic techniques, though it’s often more accurate to say I play, explore, and deconstruct.
There are no rules.
No fixed path—just an inner compass that always points toward authenticity.

Each piece is a map that blurs, a crack, an escape, a space to feel without needing to understand.

My style is rooted in the Abstract Expressionist tradition—Jackson Pollock, Franz Kline, Willem de Kooning, among others—
but my visual language is my own: imperfect, honest, free.
